Are you going to watch the Olympics?
Absolutely. I’m going to watch as much as I can.
Are you going to go to England and watch, or watch it on TV in Japan?
I’d love to be able to go to England and watch some events at the stadiums and arenas, but unfortunately I can’t take a holiday right now.

Does that mean it will be difficult to watch the Olympics live?
Yes, it’ll be a bit inconvenient. The events will start around 5pm Japan time, and continue until about 6am the following morning. That is 9am to 10pm UK time.
What did you think about the opening ceremony?
I thought it was spectacular! The director, Danny Boyle, definitely did a good job making an entertaining ceremony.
