Chris speaks to Eiko about the Chelsea Flower Show
Chris: Have you ever been to the Chelsea Flower Show?
Eiko: Yes I have. I went about 3 years ago with Eitaro. It was really good. We both love gardening so we really enjoyed it.
Chris: I know it’s really popular, but I’ve never been. Why was it so good?
Eiko: Well, it was really interesting to see so many different kinds of plants and flowers from all over the world. There were so many colourful displays.
Chris: I heard that many professional garden designers make sample gardens for everyone to see.
Eiko: Yes they do. They are called ‘show gardens’ and it was great to see them all. There were beautiful traditional style gardens as well as more unusual modern concept gardens. They were all amazing!
Chris: I heard that they sometimes have some Asian show gardens. Did you see a Japanese garden when you were there?
Eiko: Yes we did, but there were so many other things to see, we didn’t stay at the Japanese garden for long! You should go to the Chelsea Flower Show if you have chance!
Chris: I’d love to. Did you take many photos while you were there?
Eiko: Yes we did. I’ve got some in this photo album. Would you like to see?
