Examples

well-known

illustrious

A: Winston Churchill was an illustrious leader.

renowned

leading

2. beautiful 

Synonyms: delightful, elegant, gorgeous, lovely, pretty

Examples

beautiful

A: Have you ever been to Kyoto?

B: No, I haven’t.

A: If you get the opportunity, you should go! The city is very beautiful.

delightful

A: Hi, Matthew!

B: What a delightful surprise! I haven’t seen you in a long time. How’s it going?
