Have you been to see the cherry blossom this season yet?
No I haven’t been anywhere in particular yet because the weather hasn’t been very good.

Are you planning to go anywhere this week?
I’d like to, if I have time. I saw a lot of the plum blossom when the weather was nicer a couple of weeks ago though.

Oh great! Did you go anywhere special?
Not really. There’s a lot of plum blossom around my house and in the local park, so I went for a walk around and enjoyed the blossom and the warm weather.

Do you usually go and have a picnic or some drinks under the cherry blossom trees during this season?
Yes I do. I think this year is the only time I haven’t done anything like that yet. Hopefully the weather will be better this week and I can meet some friends for some lunch or something in the park.

Is there much cherry blossom in England?
Yes there is.There are many British varieties of cherry tree, and you can see many varieties of Japanese cherry trees in England too. There are many plum trees booming in late March, followed by pear trees at the end of March. The cherry trees blossom in mid-April and then the apple trees blossom at the end of April to the middle of May.England is usually very beautiful in April and May. It’s a great time to visit – especially if you enjoy plants and flowers.
