Eri: First question – Have you ever been to Hawaii?

Chris: Yes I have, once. I went about 6 years ago. Have you?

Eri: Yes, I’ve been a few times actually. Eiichi and I are thinking about going again this summer if he can get time off work.

Second question – Have you ever seen a ghost?

Chris: No. I’m very happy to say that I’ve never seen a ghost. I don’t want to either! How about you?

Eri: No, me neither. Eiichi said he saw one in the Tower of London though. I don’t know if he was being serious or he was just trying to frighten me!

Chris: Well, the Tower of London is a very old place. There are many stories of people seeing ghosts there. He might have been telling the truth!

Eri: Third question – Have you ever eaten any strange food?

Chris: Yes, I suppose so. I ate snails when I went to France. They aren’t strange for French people, but they are strange for me! Have you ever eaten anything unusual?

Eri: I’ve eaten baby bees, and I also tried wasabi ice cream in Izu

Chris: Wasabi ice cream sounds kind of OK, i’d like to try that. What were baby bees like? Were they nice?

Eri: Yes they were quite nice. They are a delicacy in Japan.
